This workshop is AHUA member representatives and nominated alternates.

This introductory Expert Exchange, presented by Strengthify, will give AHUA members a practical overview of strengths-based leadership and its relevance to current higher education challenges. The session will explore how leaders can use existing strengths within their teams and institutions to improve collaboration, build morale and support better organisational performance.

The session will be designed as an accessible taster rather than a full workshop. It will focus on the issues AHUA members are currently navigating, including organisational productivity, cross-departmental working, siloed decision-making and maintaining morale in complex operating environments.

Participants will take away:

• a clear introduction to strengths-based leadership
• practical prompts for improving collaboration across teams and departments
• ideas for building morale and making better use of existing capability
• insight into how strengths-based working can support more productive decision-making
