AHUA London, Summer 2022

The AHUA London group is chaired by Ian Callaghan, Chief Resource Officer and Secretary, University of East Anglia. This is a hybrid meeting.  Those who wish to meet face to face are invited to attend at the venue while others will be able to participate via Zoom (joining details can be found on the agenda). The actual meeting will start at 10.30 for those joining online. In order to avoid food wastage, lunch for face to face attendees will not be offered this time, but refreshments will be available from 10.00 You will need to be logged in to view the following:

  • Joining instructions will be sent in a calendar invitation.  It would be helpful for the Regional Convenor and other members to know if you are attending and especially helpful to the venue regards catering numbers and room set up, so please accept or decline the invitation by clicking ‘Send response’ including any dietary, access or other requirements.

    Drawing on experience working at the centre of executive decision-making across universities in the UK and Australia, the session will invite participants to reflect together on the realities of the role and how Academic Registrars can operate not simply as administrators of governance processes, but as strategic partners who help institutions navigate complexity with judgement and steadiness.
