AHUA Exchange Meetings

Who Should Attend

We’re offering members the chance to come together in small, informal groups online to discuss a current issue of immediate challenge or concern. This could be support with an operational issue, eg dealing with free speech issues on campus, or help with thinking through a wider HE policy issue, eg a consultation response or legal challenge.

The aim is to give members:

  • a chance to share their experiences and hear how others are dealing with issues
  • support from members handling similar challenges, and
  • a space to come up collectively with positive ways forward

Why are we offering this?

Quite simply, because members have asked us to. Given the very real challenges the sector is currently experiencing, members have told us they would really value a safe space to discuss those challenges as they arise, and to find positive ways to move forward.

How will they work?

  • Each meeting will explore a particular theme with a group of up to 10 AHUA members, facilitated by a member of the AHUA’s Executive;
  • Discussions will be confidential and not minuted;
  • Meetings will last for about an hour, held on Teams.
