Covid-19 has tested our crisis management and business continuity plans to destruction. From early management of the pandemic in February, close-down of most campus operations at the end of March, a confirmation and clearing like no other and the complex planning for re-opening of campuses and student accommodation, the crisis has presented huge challenges to our plans, not least as we have tried to respond to changing national guidance. With plans changing so frequently, there is a risk that we don’t capture learning to improve our future resilience. This session will pin down the experiences of AHUA members in implementing learning from the crisis. Panellists are:- Caroline Thomas, University Secretary, Leeds Beckett University
- Ray Selby, Registrar, University of Wales, Trinity St David
- Dr Robert Partridge, Executive Director of Student and Academic Services, University of Glasgow
